Listen & read

I love to read. You can usually find me with at least 1 book on me or in my vicinity! But being busy means my reading time has become more of a luxury some days.  But does the learning and motivation stop? Hell no! I've started incorporating Podcasts into my life so that while I'm in the car or on a walk I can take advantage of that time and use it to grow as a person. Below are a few of my personal favorite books and podcasts.  I hope you find as much inspiration and motivation in them as I do!  Xoxo - Emily


LISTEN UP!  Recommended Podcasts

 

1.) Food in Session
If you’re looking for a place to start to learn more about living a healthier life, this would be the place. These ladies break things down in understandable terms and simplify the basics.

2. Healthy Mind Fit Body
This is very quick Podcast ranging from 10-15 minutes. Learn about health with some quick tips you can add into your daily life.

3.) The Model Health Show by Shawn Stevenson.
Rather long podcast so be prepared to start and stop but totally worth it. Shawn, gives some great insight on sleep, food, exercise and what is happening to our bodies at a cellular level. There are multiple guest appearances as well that will keep you wanting more.

4.) Tony Robins
His Podcast will cover a ton of broad topics anywhere from sleep, to career, to finances. You get to pick and choose what you’re particularly interested in. He is a wealth of information.

5.) MFCEO Project
Be ready to put your big girl/pants on for this Podcast. This Podcast is for everyone and it reiterates that we are all Entrepreneurs and leaders in our own everyday life. If you need a fire lit under your ass Andy Frisella, will be the one to give it to you. If you have kiddos around, be sure to plug in those headphones.

6.) The Marie Forleo Show
My personnel favorite! Marie, gives you quick tidbits on how to dominate your life. She is so relatable and will give you great advice on time organization, career, procrastination, people, you name it!

7.) Vibrant Happy Women’s Podcast with Jen Riday
This Podcast does centers around women, children and parenting. But I think everyone can get something out of it. If you’re a parent I would highly recommend this one. She also has weekly guests on that cover topics that you can relate to.

8.) The Pat Flynn Show
This Podcast also gives some quick insights on anything from overall health, exercise and finances.

9.) The Fat Burning Man Show
Abel James, is so honest and speaks the truth about health and nutrition. He exposes real issues with society, why people are overweight and the downfall of our food system.

10.) Bulletproof Radio
Dave Asprey, provides so much knowledge, he will keep you coming back for more. This is for anyone wanting to learn about nutrition and overall health and well-being.
